Today I wore my shamrock earrings.
Today I watched Dublin's parade on tv.
Today mom and I made shamrock-shaped sugar cookies.
Please ignore the fact that shamrocks are supposed to have 3 leaves...not 4.
Today I photographed all the green things I can find.
rugby ball
Today I made soda bread (recipe to come soon.)
Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
Today we ate cabbage.
Today I watched this video. (warning: annoying music.)
Why? Because today is St. Patrick's day - the day that celebrates Ireland. We don't usually celebrate St. Patrick's day much...but today I wanted to make it special. Just for the craic. ;)
St Patty's day is such a fun unique holiday! Looks like y'all made the best of it. :)

Celebrating St. Pat's day in Ireland would be ever so much better then in the USA. Lucky you.
ReplyDeleteI'll look over the fact that Shamrocks have 3 leafs for you!
I'm glad we have Saint Patrick's day, but at the same time, I don't particularly like it. I won't go into boring details, but I'm glad you made the most of it!

I ate green food and made soda bread, too! The soda bread is amazing! What a cute cookie cutter!
ReplyDeleteHannah,
ReplyDeleteI just realized that, though you've commented many a time on my blog, I'm not following yours! So now I am. I love your design, your posts, everything!

ReplyDeleteI realy like your blog and cool post!
Funny how saint Patricks's feast day has become a irish holiday, when saint patrick wasn't even irsh lol.
God Bless, Angele
Your blog is gorgeous! I'll be following from now on!
ReplyDeleteThe lyrics on your about me page are from In Christ Alone. That's my favorite song. Ever. That song is so beautiful.
One of my best friends says craic all the time! It's a habit I've picked up from her. :P I've always wanted to visit Ireland, but I'm stuck over here in the States. ;) Someday I'll make it over there! :)
Oh, and I love photography, my friends, flowers, laughing, watching movies, blogging, Narnia, Lord of the Rings, music, rain, and loving things too. ;)

P.S. - oh, and congrats on reaching 50 followers! :)
ReplyDeleteYour St. Patrick's Day sounds so much fun! You make me proud to be Irish ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy {belated} St. Patrick's Day. I'm Irish through my heritage, thought it's very different than living there! We had cabbage for dinner, too. I didn't much like it, to be honest, but oh well. :) I'm loving the green, though.
