“The world is not in your books and maps. It’s out there.”
Dear Myself,
Some days, you spend all your time indoors. You're working on this or that, and you hardly even stop to look out your window. You start to forget. But don't.
Because you might not always live in Ireland in the country in autumn.
love, Hannah
What a lovely post, and beautiful photography! I don't exactly live in one of the most beautiful places on earth, but I often forget to look at the little, beautiful or amazing things around me and be grateful for them. A lot of the time I find myself glancing narrow mindedly at my surroundings and wishing I lived someplace else. But really, there are a lot of incredible things I don't notice. I think that if I noticed them more, my life might be really magical.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this post, I really needed it. (-:

Oh, thank you, Elizabeth! And you are so right.
DeleteAnd, also, I want to add, I think every country is beautiful in it's own way - the U.S, Canada, Australia, or wherever. I kinda just meant that Ireland is one of those places where a lot of people dream of being able to visit, and I take it for granted that I actually get to live here.
EEEP you mentioned Australia!! You mentioned my home! XD.
DeleteI've always wanted to live in Ireland..you are so lucky!
Ahh I love this!! Beautiful pictures and words, Hannah!!
ReplyDeleteThank you *very* much, Emily! :)
DeleteI thought this was going to be a super long wonderful remembering nostalgic post and then it was short and super deep and I think I kinda drowned somewhere in your pictures and words, but in a good way.
ReplyDeleteI like the shot of the gate, especially. :)

You're lucky to live in the country! I always think that's where I'll end up when I'm older.I adore the city but I'm not sure I could live there, there are no trees! :-(
