i. Greek yogurt with blueberries, a sprinkle of granola, and a drizzle of honey.
ii. Healthy pancakes made using this recipe, with the addition of blueberries, cinnamon, and golden syrup.
iii. Apples sandwiched together with peanut butter. The best.
What snacks do you enjoy making (and eating)?
love,
Hannah
I spread peanut butter on apple slices, that is one of my favorite snacks! Other snacks I like usually include leftovers form the fridge, and homemade greek yogurt with various toppings.
ReplyDeleteOoo, homemade greek yogurt? That sounds good! Thanks for commenting, Clara :)
DeleteThose look SO good! I like a homemade greek yogurt too. and strawberry smoothies and clean mac and cheese<3
ReplyDeletealso, ORANGES!
Clean mac and cheese? TELL ME MORE. I agree, oranges are amazing.
DeleteNom nom! I love greek yogurt parfaits (I top mine with flaxseed, blueberries, and agave syrup). And banana egg pancakes are another favorite of mine. A few other favorites:
ReplyDelete-Black bean brownies (still experimenting and trying to create the perfect guilt-free recipe)
-Chocolate cake made out of *SSSHHH* cauliflower (http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2012/06/18/cauliflower-chocolate-cake/)
-Sesame seed tahini cookies
-Quinoa on everything (I use it as porridge for breakfast, salad texture for lunch, pasta replacement at dinner, and with honey and coconut oil for dessert. Basically, I could live of of quinoa)
Chocolate covered Katie is my favorite healthy dessert blogger. She has some great recipes including tofu chocolate pie and garbanzo bean cookie dough dip.
Oooo I love those ideas! Healthy brownies? Yes please!
DeleteThanks for the link, I'll definitely have to check out that blog!
These look SO YUMMY! I love yogurt (or yogrit as my niece calls it) with bananas and cheerios...also with strawberries and blueberries. SO GOOD. I was going to say crepes with Nutella are also an awesome healthy snack, but I guess Nutella's not healthy, is it? DARN. =)
ReplyDeleteMmmm...I love Nutella crepes, too. Let's just pretend it's healthy, eh? :) I like the banana/cheerio/yogurt idea, too!
DeleteThe first one looks so good. At first I thought the granola was actually oatmeal, but granola's really good, too. I also love Greek yogurt, and a lot of the time I'll make overnight oats with Greek yogurt. So good!
ReplyDeleteOvernight oats are amazing. I've never made it with greek yogurt before, though - I'll have to give that a try! I'm loving all these ideas you all are sharing. :)
DeleteMmm! Those looks so so good! I will definitely be trying those out. Thanks for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Eve!
DeletePancakes are one of my favorite foods, but I also love blini (basically Russian crepes) and bagels with salmon cream cheese. I'll eat almost anything, though :)
ReplyDeleteOh, those sound delicious. I'll have to look up a recipe for blini! Thanks for commenting, Alex!
DeleteThese snacks seem so simple to make and so healthy! I definitely want to try some out this week :)

That's awesome! If you do, let me know how you like them. :)
DeleteThese pictures are so artsy I feel like you live in a restaurant. (wowwww, that would be weird. Where would you shower?? You could sleep in a booth though, that'd be fun.)
ReplyDeleteMy favourite healthy food is apples and peanut butter (sometimes nutella, I lie to myself and pretend it's healthy.) I also reallly like avocado and eggs on toast with a little salt and pepper. Mmmmm. Don't eat it right before bed, though ~ it'll give you weird dreams. ;)
I doooo live in a restaurant, Olivia.
Delete(just kidding. unfortunately)
Mmmm I love nutella. And avocado. And eggs. (Yeah, I'll keep dream thing in mind...HAHA.)
I love pancakes! Not because of my nickname for them, though... I didn't not eat pancakes when that nickname was given to me.
ReplyDeletexoxo Morning
I LOVE THEM TOO. You need to live up to your nickname though, and eat pancakes for every meal. :D
DeleteThe apple sandwich idea is quite creative! I think I'll try it out, thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteI usually bake cupcakes, or mini cupcakes (aka mini mini cakes). Not as interesting but defintely delicious. :)
Glad you like the ideas! Mini mini cakes sound like the best things ever. :) Thanks for commenting!
DeleteI was looking at this on my phone screen and I legit thought that was brown sugar sprinkled on your yoghurt. Until I read the description I was like HANNAH BROWN SUGAR IS NOT HEALTHY YOU TRICKY LITTLE HOBBITSES
ReplyDeleteIT'S NOT BROWN SUGAR. I'M NOT A TRICKY LITTLE HOBBITSES, PRECIOUS. :D But hey, everything in moderation! #brownsugarislife
DeleteOh, yum-yum-yum!! These all sound lovely! I'm doing a detox week & only eating all-natural foods, so the timing for your post is perfect! :)
ReplyDeleteI personally like eating sliced apple with sugar-free natural peanut-butter with a bit of honey mixed in... But I also like steel-cut oats with fruit & honey as well. <3
Oh, yay for perfect timing! ;) Natural foods are best.
DeleteMmmm! Thank you for making me hungry. Now I have to get a bowl of yogurt with honey and blackberries. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pancake recipe. I had know idea that you could make pancakes with so few ingredients. I will definitely try it out.
Haha, you're welcome :) I definitely recommend that pancake recipe!
DeleteThese all look extremely uber yummy, Hannah. However the only one I could realistically eat would be the pancakes, since I dislike yogurt and am allergic to peanut butter... :( Oh well, yay for breakfast varieties! :)
ReplyDeleteAw thanks! And oh, that's a pity. You should make the pancakes though ;)
DeleteHi, Hannah! So pleased you stopped by my blog--thanks for the follow! I love this little blog, by the way. Your photos are gorgeous!! And wait, you live in Ireland??!? WOW! My sisters would be so jealous (of course, I am too) ;D
ReplyDeleteSo again, thanks for stopping by! I'm looking forward to more of your posts!
Blessings,
Sarah
