On the Lake

My house is just a short walk away from a big, beautiful lake. I've lived near it for ten years, but I'd never gotten the opportunity to go out onto it until our neighbors invited us on a boat trip last Thursday.

  IT WAS SO FUN GUYS.

After a while, we stopped at a pretty dock where we walked around a bit and had tea and scones.

| so look at this cute little table with the cute little cups of tea |

The weather was gorgeous, everything was beautiful, and there were scones involved. It was a great day.

  2. That does look fun. And I love it that you stopped for tea and scones. My family has been talking about renting a pontoon boat for an afternoon, and I'm excited about that.

    1. Oh yes! Come on over and we'll have tea!

And, oh, sorry to disappoint, but I really don't have an awesome accent. :( Just a boring-sounding American accent (since that's where my family is from). I AM SO SORRY.

  5. Seeing as I live in the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" (Minnesota), spending a day or weekend on the lake is a pretty normal part of everyone's summer life. I don't get to do it as much as I'd like, but last year some friends invited me to come with them and they taught me how to water ski! It was a blast. There's just something about the sun sparkling on the water, and the lake breeze. So relaxing and refreshing.
