christmas reads

a christmas carol by charles dickens // little women by louisa may alcott // the miraculous journey of edward tulane by kate dicamillo // christmas with anne and other holiday stories by l.m. montgomery // hans christian andersen's fairy tales // little house in the big woods by laura ingals wilder // the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe by c. s. lewis // the bird's christmas carol by kate douglas wiggin // the house of arden by e. nesbit // north child by edith pattou

These are a couple of my favorite books to read at Christmas-time. Some of them are specifically Christmas books, like A Christmas Carol and Christmas with Anne, but others are simply lovely, heartwarming, cozy books that just suit the time of year.

What are some of your favorite books to read at Christmas?

  1. :O I've read most of those...a lot of them are my special favourites, too! I didn't know other people did the whole read-cozy-books-at-Christmastime thing! :D

Some of my favourites are any Laura Ingalls books, "Dancing Through the Snow" by Jean Little, and "the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" by Lewis (although I'm infatuated with all of the CoN books. :3

I did not know that there was such a book as Christmas with Anne! I can't wait to look it up! :D
