a book by it's cover

A couple of my very favorite book-covers :)

A Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge // Lion Hudson Publishers
The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner // HarperCollins
The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart // Little, Brown
Middlemarch by George Eliot // Penguin Classics (Clothbound Collection)
The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Graham // The Folio Society
The Adventures of Robin Hood by Roger Lancelyn Green // Puffin Classics (Clothbound Collection)
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll // Puffin Classics

  1. *squeals*
The Mysterious Benedict Society, The Thief and Alice in Wonderland!
You have great taste in literature, I must say.

  2. These are all amazing!!! I think I should better start collecting "pretty" books... I'm too much of a sucker for the cheap ones!

  3. Oh, The Thief and Robin Hood:) I think, like Ana said, I should start buying books for their covers as well as their words!
I'm quite enjoying your thoughts and photos on this blog:)

  4. You have a great literary taste. All those books are amazing, and their covers of course:)

  5. Oh, aren't Chris Riddell's illustrations just beautiful? I didn't know he'd done a cover for Alice in Wonderland!

  6. I adore each of these book covers that you posted. Love it!
