The Art of Baking Cookies

Baking chocolate-chip-oatmeal-raisin cookies is an art, and don't let anybody tell you otherwise.

That is all.

And I think cookie making in itself is an art. ;)

  4. Baking cookies is an art. I baked some cookies over the weekend (chocolate crinkles) and my mom kept telling me what to do. I turned and said, "Mom. Baking is a lifestyle and art. Let me interpret it the way I want." The cookies turned out okay (I did not roll half of the cookies in powered sugar but just sprinkled it on top instead) but I loved the outcome, nether the less.

  7. I agree, baking is most certainly an art, and it's one I have yet to master. I think my problem might be I don't like following instructions... but I'm not so sure. :P
Your cookies look super yummy! Might I have one? ;)

  9. mmm. MM. These look absolutely wonderful. As a fellow cookie lover, these look a lot like perfectness. The only problem is - me and cookies don't get along very well. It's so sad. *sniffles* Whenever I attempt to bake them, (or in that case, make them) they seem determined to either burn or turn out to be a flop. But ahh, chocolate chip cookies are amazing. End of story.
