The Bookshelf Challenge // first-ever vlog

What? A vlog? I know, weird. Still not over the weirdness myself.

(I know you all are awesome people and will therefore excuse the awkwardness, the exaggerated facial expressions, and the amateur editing. Thankskbye.)

Again, thank you for tagging me, Emily!

Olivia and Elizabeth, if you'd like to do the tag, here are the questions:

1) Is there a book that you really want to read but haven’t because you know that it’ll make you cry?
2) Pick one book that helped introduce you to a new genre.
3) Find a book that you want to reread.

4) Is there a book series you read but wish that you hadn't?

5) If your house were burning down and all of your family and pets were safe, which book would you go back inside to save?
6) Is there one book on your bookshelf that brings back fond memories?

7) Find a book that has inspired you the most.
8) Do you have any autographed books?
9) Find the book that you have owned the longest.
10) Is there a book by an author that you never imagined you would read or enjoy?

You guys are cool. Vlogs are interesting. Brothers have weird laughs.
Have a good day.

love,
Hannah

Woooow that would be totally cool if you did a vlog. I forgot to mention, though, you can totes just do it as a regular blog post if you want! Either way is super awesome.

Also, where did you get your gorgeous copy of The Book Thief? America's copies are ugly.

  7. Aww! Thanks so much Hannah, I'm really looking forward to doing this tag. (-: Wow, you are such a natural on camera! How do you do it? I totally look like an awkward nerd when I'm filmed. XD When I was looking through the list of questions before I even watched the vlog, I seriously thought of three of the books that you talked about. Gosh, we must have really similar tastes in books.

  10. THIS IS THE BEST THING I HAVE SEEN. Omg, you are so good at vlogging. Honest. TRUST ME. Your editing is fabulous and you were really concise, too! (I've seen vlogs that are like 10+ minutes and I'm just like, nope, not watching all of that.) So this is perfection. You're adorable and hilarious and YES TALKING TO A CAMERA IS AWKWARD. I hate vlogging, lol. I just cannot do it. I've done a few with my sister, but I let her do all the talking and I just sat there making weird faces and laughing at all the wrong spots.
I love Jerry Spinellie. Have you ever read Maniac Magee? LOVE that book. And I like Milkweed too. x)

I haven't read anything else by Jerry Spinelli, but I really want to!

  15. Oh my word! That was all kinds of awesome! It was so strange to actually be able to hear your voice after I've been reading your blog for so long! But I loved it. You did great for your first vlog. And yes, it's awkward talking to a camera. I've tried it myself, but I just gave up because it wasn't going well at all. :/ :)
